canyon911

time attack down a twisty road

Six rear-engined cars, three canyon roads, one clock. The camera follows where you are going, not where you are pointing — so a slide reads as a slide. Engine audio is built from real recordings, layered by RPM.

Every engine layer in this game is cut from a real recording. Nothing is synthesised except a faint turbo whistle on the 993, which is mixed far under the recorded engine and is never the engine note itself.

Two of those layers are non-commercial licensed, so this build is a private, non-commercial personal project. Car specifications are cited per car in the garage. All meshes are generated in code — no ripped game assets.

Touch controls: left quarter of the screen steers left, second quarter steers right, upper right is throttle, lower right is brake, far bottom-right corner is the handbrake. Keyboard: arrows / WASD, space = handbrake.

Power / torque / weight / gearing figures are taken from a cited source per car (see DESIGN.md). Where a factory redline could not be verified from a source, the card says so and the value is a game-tuned one.
